How to calculate Notice Period

This is the time between the date you inform your employer that you are leaving the job and your last working day. This is the date you officially notify your employer that you are resigning. The time between the resignation date and the exit date is considered the notice period.

2. On the basis of Gross Pay.

1. On the basis of Basic Pay: On the basis of Basic Pay Formulas is Basic Pay/30* no. of Notice period days.

2. On the basis of Gross Pay: On the basis of Gross Pay Formulas is Total Gross-Any Previous salary-Any leave encashment/Month days* no. of notice period days.
